VIB001-VIBROCK V9000 SEISMOGRAPH/Ground Vibration Monitor (REPLACED V901)

Category: Seismograph

The all new V9000 Seismograph is designed and manufactured by Vibrock Ltd to meet the needs of our customers.  The V9000 Seismograph is a battery powered portable vibration monitor, designed for monitoring blasting, piling, demolition, construction and traffic vibrations.  It can also monitor dominant frequencies as well as air overpressure from blasting, using the optional microphone.

New features include internet based remote capability, frequency plotting in accordance with BS 5228 Part 2: 2009 and BS 7385 Part 2; 1993, multiple text alarm functions, larger screen with graphical representation, 7 day timer function, sleep mode, basic and custom set up, selectable data storage rate, data storage for all 3 axes, and extended battery life of up to 40 days.

Results can be downloaded to a PC, using Vibrocks all new plug and play software, and can be saved, analysed, printed and exported to Microsoft Excel.  The V9000 Seismograph is also available as a twin channel transducer instrument enabling measurements on a common time base in two locations simultaneously.  The V9000 Seismograph also measures vibration dose value (VDV) to BS 6472 Part 1:2008.

Vibrock V9000 - Ground Vibration Monitor – Available for rental / hire from Ashtead Technology.

Capable of running for up to 30 hours, the Vibrock V9000 is a portable, battery powered ground vibration monitoring which can trigger and record PPV, acceleration and displacement parameters.

The V9000 comes with modes for impulse and continuous investigations. The impulse mode is typically used for blast monitoring, whilst the continuous mode can be used for piling, rail, construction and road vibration monitoring.

Ideal for long term, unattended monitoring, the Vibrock V9000 is available to rent with 2 accelerometers which allow you to simultaneously measure ground vibrations in two separate locations.

With triggering from 0.1 mm/s, the Vibrock V9000 auto range is from 0.1 mm/s to 200 mm/s and the units auto record length is from 2 to 18 seconds (in impulse mode). The unit can also measure in “Vibration Does Value” (VDV) to BS 6472 Part 1:2008.

For real-time measurements, the unit has a large screen which displays live monitoring information. For further reporting, you can easily transfer data to a PC via USB, which can then be exported and analysed in Microsoft Excel.
